choose MPEG 2 as your file format in rendering window and then pick a ready DVD template. it's so easy then you can burn it into a disk.

You can't. At least not without spending a great deal more money than it would cost to actually buy a DVD player. DVD players can be bought at yard sales for about $5.00, or at second-hand shops such as Goodwill for about $10.00. You can get new ones at Walmart for less than $50.00.

The optics for a VCD player are identical to a CD. DVD uses something different, so you would need to change these. The transport mechanism is also different, as is the CODEC. The computer would be controlling different mechanisms, and is a dedicated controller, so that would need to be changed.

About the only things you would be able to keep are the tray on which the disk is placed, the buttons in the front, the case for the player and the jacks to connect to your TV. Really, you would be building a DVD player from scratch.

Buy a DVD player, it's cheaper.

you can buy converters from most good computer stores,
these will allow you to plug your video output cable from you dvd/vcd player into your VGA plug for your monitor,

i have even seen some sort of gizmo that you can plug both your PC and DVD player into, you can that have split screen or multi screen or one or the other on at any one time.

Ummm microsoft makes a web system for TVs, and all the new game systems have the ability to connect to the web (one has to be mod'ed first though).

This all depends upon the VCD/DVD player. You first need to find out what that device supports and THEN put your photos in that format.

My newest DVD player can read image files and handle a folder structure. My older DVD player can't. If you have the later, you'll need to create a 'Movie' with something like Movie Maker and then create a video DVD with the movie. This second type will play on ANY DVD as long as the international/country code is the same as how you created it.

Good luck and I hope this helps!

Not enough information. How did you burn it? With what program? Into what format? WHAT "mpeg to DVD converter program"? What VCD player?
